As we move towards the end of April, I thought that I would share with you the spreads in my bullet journal. Using the ideas from YouTuber Amanda Rach Lee as inspiration, I centred the drawings on working spaces around the home. My bookish quote was found on the internet and, unfortunately, I do not know its origin.

As I worked on the monthly calendar, I knew I would not be filling in many dates. What I did fill in were the online teacher meetings with my school administration.

I spent quite a lot of time creating my mood and habit trackers. I love the way the page looks – and as I am filling it in with colour, it brightens my day.

My weekly spreads have not been filled with too many events – except for the online sessions I have organised with my students. I am currently using my journal to write down my thoughts and feelings for the day – a little like a diary. It is definitely working for me.

As we near the end of April, we move towards the two month mark of staying at home due to COVID-19. Working on my journal and creating its pages has been a source of relaxation for me.
Has you done any drawing or colouring during the month of April as a form of relaxation?

That looks charming–good for you! Do you do zumba online now or tapes?

I am following some DVDs that I have. I find with the online classes that the music comes out too tinny. A lot depends on the sound of the music.

Beautiful April spread, Colline! I also use the bullet journal system and found it to be an awesome source for self expression. If you dont mind me asking, what’s the name of the fine liners you used?

The black pen I use is a 0.5 from the Muji store. The gel pens are called Color Point. I love the Muji pens and once we are able to go out again and the stores have opened, I will be buying a range of colours.

Muji pens are the best! 0.38 is my absolute favourite, however because it’s so thin, it forces you to think twice if you’re having a lazy writing day 😉

Thank you. I find it is a beautiful way to organize my thoughts. Now I am doing my teacher plans in this way as well.

Thank you. You can always start with something small and easy to draw until you get confident. That is what I did 🙂
