Since the beginning of 2020, we have been experiencing overcast, grey days (I am really missing the sun and the long walks on the beach we experienced on our vacation). When I get home, the light we do experience is already fading requiring us to put on the lights in our place.
This week I am trying to finish the setup of my bullet journal and the dim and fading light makes it difficult for me to see the dots in the journal. My daughter has loaned me her lamp and now whenever I feel the creative urge, I am able to journal no matter what the natural light.

The lamplight is perfect and enables me to journal a little every day. I do miss the natural light though and wish daily to see the sun and blue skies.
Do you work by lamplight?

Today is one of the first days we have had for a month or more when I do not need to turn on the lights during the day!

It won’t last . . . my mum has just rung me and said it is cloudy there, so in a couple of hours it will be here!

I am with you, Colline. I can’t wait until the days are longer and we can enjoy the light. We’ve had rain here. too, and the days have been so dark and dreary. Where is our friend, Mr. Sun!

Imagine a world where you had a lamp that used oil…or even sat near the fire for light!

I certainly would not have been able to work on my bullet journal!

Always a problem when you have a winter sun holiday, Colline. You have to come back! 😦 😦 But even here I’ve got the lights on around 5. I don’t need a lot of light for the blog though. Enjoy your weekend and I hope it brings you sunshine. 🙂

Hi C – I like lamp lights for some working – but also use two small lamps for down light in the living room. Really makes a difference
— and love the journaling adventure
