At the resort we booked into when we visited the Dominican Republic, we had the opportunity to eat at a varied number of buffet selections. The first buffet we visited was the one nearest to our room. The selection was good and we enjoyed our meals there. I loved the slatted walls and the holiday feel about the space.

After a couple of days, we discovered a larger buffet. A was a bit of a walk from our room but one that was manageable. When we first entered the room, I loved the clean lines of the place and it was definitely our most favourite place to eat. (This was the place that had the amazing dessert selection).

We had access to a third buffet restaurant which we tried out and, unfortunately, I did not take a picture of the environment. The place was buzzing but we did prefer going to the ones nearer to our room.
Do you enjoy eating at buffet restaurants?

I don’t usually like buffets, but these look wonderful. Great photos. Thanks for sharing.

The venues for the buffets were definitely pleasant.

If only I lived somewhere where you could have slatted walls like this!!

I am a fan of a buffet that is designed to offer a wide range of options: omelets, cheeses and various breads, a seafood section etc. If its just a buffet of scrambled eggs in a large warming pan, I usually pass. Your selection however seemed to be quite nice!

We had all that and more John. Each day I could eat something different – as well as my few favourites 😀

High end resorts like yours are really stepping up to give us a beautiful selection of food!

Thankfully as the cost per meal is a high end price 😀

The first restaurant is simply beautiful! The fact that it looks more open to the outside did it for me. I am not a fan of buffets, but would not mind going to one if at a nice resort.

Especially if the venue is beautiful like these were. The one in the first photo had such a holiday feel about it – maybe because of the slatted walls.
