Spring is Near

On Saturday after my exam, I stopped by the fruit and vegetable store to buy some produce. While waiting at the cashier, I could not resist picking up a pot of daffodils. They hadn’t bloomed yet but I knew that they would look lovely when they did.

Yesterday when I got home, I saw that most of the flowers had opened. So beautiful! The colour definitely brightens up our living room and serves as a reminder that, even though it is still cold outside, Spring is around the corner.

What has made you smile this week?

  1. I’m waiting for the ones outside… There is still “parking lot” snow down here, but yesterday I saw green shoots peeking up. I also saw a snake! Must be spring. I hope spring reaches you soon as well.

  2. Colline, the exact same thing happened to me! My wife saw some Daffodils at the store as we were checking out, and she put them in a vase – the next morning they were fully opened – what a colorful way to say hello to spring!
