The one thing that my daughter wanted to see when we were in Paris was the Georges Pompidou museum of modern art. She loved the shape of the building and was tickled pink when she saw the fountains in the square.
We decided to eat our picnic lunch in the square after visiting the museum so that we could enjoy the creative fountains a little longer.
What do you think of the modern-type fountains in the square outside of Georges Pompidou?

Pretty cool, very whimsical. I do like this museum. It is perhaps the only museum I’ve been to where they have Pink Floyd’s album “Meddle” playing on a loop in one of the rooms…

I admit that I was not paying attention to the music – I was too busy looking at the art 😊

I get it. Actually, the music was part of one piece of art, so it was loudest when you stood in front of it looking at it. Even though the artwork was static, it was a multimedia concept done back in the 70s.

I vaguely remember that one – but it didn’t resonate as much with me as the piece I will post about tomorrow 🙂
