Music Monday: Michel Telo

Not only am I dancing when I go to my Zumba classes, I am also introduced to new songs albeit Spanish ones. One of my Zumba instructors has choreographed a dance to the following song by Michel Telo:

I have no idea what he is singing about but I enjoy the rhythms and the dance we do to it. The dance my instructor leads us in a dance similar to this one:

It is a perfect dance to slow the heart rate down a little after an energetic one.

Do you know any of Michel Telo’s songs?

  1. Hi Colline
Michel Telo is Brazilian and he is singing in Portuguese. This song, as in a lot Brazilian songs, has sexual undertones. In it he seems to be singing to a girl saying she is delicious and she is killing him. “Ai se eu te pego” means, loosely translated, “If I catch you”, as in “you will see when I catch you”.
Have fun in your Zumba class. I love it but cannot do it at the moment because of hip issues.
    Blessings! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much for correcting my error – and for explaining what the song means. I just assumed the song was Spanish as Zumba classes feature mostly Spanish songs 🙂
