When I arrived home on Monday I had a pleasant surprise waiting for me on the table: snail mail that wasn’t a bill or a statement. The envelope was small and a light coloured brown. I could see from the paper that the envelope contained a card of some sort. When I opened it, I saw that inside was a Thank You card thanking me for presenting at the OLA Super Conference. Reading the card warmed my heart and made me smile.
This week I am grateful for receiving a short note which reminds me that my efforts were appreciated.

It’s the little things that means so much. I love the touch of a card.
This week I’m grateful for good health, and my daughter’s happiness. She’s always been a happy girl, (with some mood swings here and there of course,) but for the past week she’s been shining, dancing, giggling, laughing, telling jokes, singing songs she made up, and drawing super happy pictures. It’s like she’d come to some new kind of realization that I don’t know about, but that makes her very happy. That makes me very happy! I am very grateful. Thank you for a beautiful post.

Thank you cards seem to be getting more scarce… it’s lovely you received one 🙂

I agree on their scarcity – and it makes the one I received even more special.
