Last week I gave my students some free time to play if they had completed all of their work. The bins of blocks were eagerly pulled out after last recess and the children began creating.
I enjoyed seeing the results and the children’s creativity at play. In a couple of weeks we begin our inquiry on structures. I think that they will enjoy it! 🙂
Would you enjoy building with blocks during your free time?

I would. I love this post. Too often today I see where kids miss things like this in their parents’ strive towards the future.

It is an important part of their development I believe. And while they are playing, they are trying out so many things with the placement of the blocks.

Great to see children’s creativity come to life, the awakening of imagination is the beginning of a child’s future.
