Last week Friday, my class and I walked around the school to look at the doors that had been decorated for the Holidays. Some doors the children admired greatly, others they claimed were made by cheaters (they did not appreciate lights attached to the door), while some were boring. Have a look and decide for yourself.
We enjoyed our walk and cast our votes. The children, of course, thought their door was still the best 🙂
Which is your favourite Holiday Door?

A lovely selection of variations on a theme. Your class must be one of the best – a little of everything, including signs of the children’s individuality!

We tried to get the kids to participate as the door decorating is about getting them all involved.

I like the tree made of stars and all the penguins playing in the snow. 🙂

They are all so wonderful. I don’t know how anyone was able to choose a favorite (except of course loving their own!)

What a fabulous idea, Colline. I haven’t seen that done before. Of course the children’s door is the best! Some of them are quite imaginative. It’s good to see your school mascot featuring so highly.

Everywhere you look in our school you will see penguins. The principal even calls the children ‘penguins’. It has fostered a good school spirit. 🙂

How creative and cheerful these doors were. Our schools don’t have this tradition. I love it!

I suspect this will be a new tradition at our school – especially as this year we have a lot of new teachers who are enthusiastic to participate in school activities.
