On Monday I sorted all the art pieces my students had created for this term’s art inquiry. I had given them the opportunity to create a design using shapes.

Every second week, their pieces were created using a different medium: tempura paint, watercolour, oil pastels, crayon, plasticine.

I have organised the artwork on the bulletin boards in the classroom. The pieces for each child are grouped together in a semblance of order.

I have invited parents to browse the gallery and they are visiting before and after school. And during the day? The children and I enjoy the vibrant colours gracing the walls.
Do you enjoy looking at children’s art?

It must fulfilling to be a part of stimulating children’s creativity. And the children must glow having their artwork displayed in their own ‘galleries’ like that. Well done teacher Colline!

They love looking at their art on the wall. And they are proud to show it off to any adult that enters the room 🙂

Good link to the challenge, Colline, and yes, I was just thinking the children had done rather well 🙂 🙂

Thank you Jo. I have found that the more time the children spend on their art, the more impressive their creation.

Striking, indeed. Maybe a modern art lover will put in an offer?

I don’t know whether it would be accepted. Sometimes children do not want to part with their art!

I love children’s art. As simple as they may seem they often show deeper perception than we can think of.

The children’s artwork is wonderful. I love that they all used lots of color and each interpreted your assignment a little differently. What a beautiful display for your classroom. Thanks for sharing and putting a smile on my face. ❤ ❤ ❤
