Adding Windows

As I look through my living room windows, I cannot help but see the windows that are being added daily to my neighbourhood.

At this rate, the little sky that I do see will be blocked by new homes.

Are any windows being added to your neighbourhood?

(This week Paula, over at Lost in Translation, suggests we post a photo on the theme windows for her Black & White Sunday challenge)

  1. That’s a shame, Colline. It happened to me too a couple of times, so I know how you must feel. As always I love entries from you witnessing your private life. Thank you, honey.

    1. We will be staying here for a few more years until my girls are finished with high school. Then I am hoping that we can find somewhere a little less grey and built up.
Always a pleasure to share my experiences with you Paula. I am not skilled at photography as you are but I can share what I can 🙂

  2. Heavens! Higher and higher, Colline! My environment couldn’t be more different. I live on a housing estate with quite a lot of green around. Lucky, I know. 🙂

    1. It sounds like heaven Jo. The buildings in our neighbourhood are going up to 35 floors! Many houses and four storey buildings are being torn down to build these skyscrapers.

  3. When we bought our property almost 47 years ago, we did not realize how lucky we were. Our home faces a State Park, so nothing will ever be built in front of us. The trees however keep getting taller and block some of the views we had when we moved here, but at least they are green!
