Last week I could not help but smile as I passed my daughter lying on the floor in the living room. She was stretched out on the ground with her sketch book in front of her and planning her next assignment.

It is always a pleasure to see her enjoying the process of her work.
What has made you smile this week?

Is she planning a cartoon? Or is this a very early stages thinking of the layout of a drawing or painting? or…? Anyway, it is a cool picture of the process in action.

I love looking through her planning drawings – it is so interesting to see the way she thinks. On this particular day she was planning her photo shoot in which she would use umbrellas as props.

OK, I can see that. That’s a real photographer, to plan her shoots. Cool.
