There have been days in the last month when the temperatures have dropped low enough to cause the leaves to change colour and humans to wear their jackets.
The last few days, however, have been bliss!
Jackets have been left in homes, in cars, on park benches, and on wooden fences. Screams of delight have echoed in playgrounds as short-sleeved children play under falling leaves of trees.
We have been enjoying every moment of the warmer weather, turning our faces up to the sky and allowing the sun’s rays to warm our bare skin. We savour the warmth before the advent of colder days and falling snow.
This week I am grateful for the mild weather we are experiencing and am thankful it is not too cold yet.
What have you been grateful for this week?
