Music Mondays: Wishing

While I am cooking, I often play music from YouTube. This weekend I felt a little nostalgic and played one of the songs I loved as a teenager: Wishing by A Flock of Seagulls. I remember watching this video, among others, with my friend while lying on the carpet in her parents’ living room.

She loved the singer’s hair and had a large ‘flick’ of her own πŸ™‚

      1. Looking forward to it. To be honest, I like listening to older music! I find the music nowadays…too…ugly? I don’t know maybe pointless would be a better word. Sometimes all they sing about are sex, drugs and alcohol. 😦 it gets harder to find quality music nowadays.

  1. I quite liked this band as a teen but think it’s the first time I’ve seen the video! I went through so many phases, like many of us 80s teens I spose, the pace of change was quickening. I liked all kinds of music, too many to answer – but Blondie was one of my lasting faves πŸ™‚
