Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Weather

Last week we enjoyed the white of snow on the ground. My favourite day, however, was on Tuesday when the snow was gently falling and the trees were covered in white. My favourite photo of the scenes I took was the one of the Silver Birch. (If you missed my pictures of the snow, you can visit here.)

The snow has all melted now with the higher temperatures we had over the weekend. Snow is predicted for this week but we will see whether we will get more than a few centimetres.

Do you have Silver Birch trees in your neighbourhood?

  1. What a beautiful photograph dear Colline. Fascinated me. Yes, we have silver birch tree in Istanbul too. But not around my apartment. I think they are mostly in the European side… How precious these trees, if I remember correctly, A big silver birch tree produces oxygen for 70 people in a day… Thank you dear Colline, Canada is amazing place with her great trees and forests. Love, nia
