A New Day

As I passed by my windows this morning, I saw a beautiful sunrise. The sky had pinkish tones which spread across the pale blue. I quickly snapped a picture – though the photo does not do justice to the beauty I saw with my eyes.

The view that brought me outside to my balcony had lost a little of its colour while I grabbed my iPad and pulled on a sweater:

As the new day dawned, I thought of the people all over the world who see a similar view. One could hope that they all view the new day with optimism.

  1. Wow! That’s beautiful, Colline. I love the stripes of color. 🙂 I did see the sunrise this morning, but ours was rather plain today. Still beautiful, just not particularly colorful.

  2. I keep telling people that every day above ground is a good day; guess that can also be translated into every day you see that sun rise in the sky, everything’s gonna be ok. Thanks for sharing your beautiful photos and never ever stop being optimistic! 🙂 Here’s my personal fun take – enjoy: http://wp.me/p2CNyA-2Sr

  3. Oh C! This ties right into the sunrise post I mentioned in a comment on my blog today! Wow is this cool! Well still different – but fun to read – and the colors you captured were great – perfect way to start a new day – 🌞

      1. thanks – I will check it out – and I am also going to dig for my old priorhouse poem – it reminds me of the blogger Kathryn – because we chatted it up and kinda bonded over that post – – anyhow, thanks for the link!
