Gratetful for iPads

Last week the administration at my school gave me a gift of five iPads. The tablets are brand new and have been given to me for use exclusively in my classroom. Apps are being added to our selection as the staff come across interesting ones that may be useful.

The children explore an app on the iPads in small groups. They enjoy this way of learning and cannot wait for it to be their turn. I am pleased to have another way for them to hone their skills in Math and in French. One of the iPads have been given to me for documentation purposes and I am grateful for this as my personal one kept running out of space!

What have you been grateful for this week?

Last week Lavender Ladi was grateful for mail.

I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.

    1. We are definitely lucky to wake up everyday in good health.
We love the iPads John. Yesterday the children spent time exploring the world with the Google Earth app. They loved it and want to continue today 🙂

  1. What a great gift for the kids and I bet they can’t wait to get to school every day, just to get a chance to enjoy the iPads. Sounds like lots of learning fun. 😀

      1. It is wonderful how easy it is to get more information without even thinking about it. I’ve got a boy about 9 years, he told me he was going to make a speech on whales. He read the questions and answers he would use. Even I learned some more about whales!
