Grateful for New Furniture

The school year began in a different classroom for me. If you recall, I did not have desks and chairs that were appropriate for the age group I am teaching. In consultation with the principal, I requested round tables and additional chairs. Four of five of the tables have finally arrived and I look forward to receiving the remaining table and the chairs. My classroom is beginning to look like the image I have in my head.

This week I am grateful for the arrival of most of the furniture I requested. The children are now able to work in comfort – and I can implement some of the centres I have been longing to introduce.

What have you been grateful for this week?

I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.

    1. Thank goodness not 🙂
Some of them have tennis balls on the feet to prevent them from making noise when scraped on the floor. Hopefully those will be replaced soon as many have lost the tennis balls and can be a bit wobbly.

  1. I am late in catching up on posts Colline, I do recall one of your initial pictures of a vacant room, good to see progress has been made, by now it’s probably a veritable hive of activity.
    Kind regards.
