2015-08-24 – Photo taken of an old photo in 2014 – Barbara W. BeachamThe family had no idea that little Luigi would grow up to be a hunted man. Like the rest of them, he had grown up in a loving environment. Being the youngest, he had had attention lavished upon him; his every whim attended to. Maybe that had been the problem. Unknowingly the family had encouraged his belief that he deserved all he desired. And he had come to desire a life of luxury and ease. When asked, Luigi had claimed his wealth came from a well-paying job and wise investments. However, the reports in the newspapers hinted at a life of thievery and the ability to slip through the fingers of the law. The old ones shook their heads and mumbled prayers for him. The younger ones admired his audacity. And each one wondered when they would see him again as he would surely come home to the comfort of his family.
Does Luigi go home to his family?

I think there is a lot of truth in your story – about children being given anything and everything and them thinking they deserve everything they want. Great story Colline!
Nicely done Colline! I do not think that he comes home. There would be shame with the elders and kudos from the young… Thanks for sticking with the MFtS challenge and be well… ^..^
I think not. An intriguing intro, Colline. Who is the family in the photo?

I don’t know, it doesn’t sound likely. Nice take on the prompt!
Hope you don’t mind me pointing it out, but there’s a repetition of ‘would’ in your last line.

I doubt he will turn to his family… too much ego to need them even now. Excellent story!

Yes, I am sure he thinks he is above them.

He would definitely want the elders to feel proud of him. On some level he knows that what he has done will cause them to be ashamed of him.

I agree. In order to escape the authorities he would have to think like them. And the one place they would certainly look is his family home.

I doubt he’ll ever return to his family – if only because those hunting him will surely be keeping an eye on the place! A good story, Colline. ๐

I think they would – especially as those organising the manhunt have many resurces available to them.

I think he has to go home, he would want to flaunt to his family what a success he became.Interesting take on the prompt.

If he is hunted, the last place he would go is back to his family.
