Last week I accompanied my daughters to see a session of the ParaPan Am Games. My youngest had set her heart on seeing the blind play soccer and I agreed to accompany her. (For my post on my experience of watching blind soccer click here.)
Watching the game was an inspiring experience. These men do not allow their disablity to determine what they can do. Their dexterity with the ball was amazing and we cheered them on not only for their skill but also for their courage.
This week I am grateful that my daughter encouraged me to do something out of my realm of experience. In addition, I am grateful that I have the sight to watch the blind overcome their own disability. And I am certainly grateful that the PanAm games were held in the city I live in.
What have you been grateful for this week?
Last week Lavender Ladi was greateful for star gazing.

I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.
