At the moment, fatigue is an unwelcome friend. Currently I am juggling work, responsibilities at home, as well as the expectations of the course I am following. I am in need of a few days rest to recharge my batteries – and March break (a week off school) seems to be far away.
Luckily for me, a long weekend is coming up: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I am looking forward to these days with eagerness. During these four days I will sleep late and hopefully erase the fatigue that seems to have surrounded me. I will take the time as well to get a little ahead with my coursework assignments. I hope to relax a little with my girls and watch a movie on Netflix that we have been saving. Hopefully on Tuesday I will feel a little more refreshed and ready to continue until the next break.
This week I am grateful to have the chance for a long weekend. Monday is a public holiday in Ontario (family day) and therefore my family and I will have a chance to spend some time together.
What have you been grateful for this week?

I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.
When I was working I loved long weekends. 🙂 But they never were long enough. 😦
Hope you get everything accomplished.

This holiday began a few years ago and the reason is two-fold: to allow families to spend time together, and to give people something to look forward to during the winter.

You have a huge load. The reward is just as great. I am sending you some strength to make it though to the end. ❤

Thank you Colleen – it means a lot to me. I am almost at the halfway mark with the course which means almost half the readings and work has been done 🙂

I am grateful for a day of sunshine after all these long dark days. I need to enjoy it today, because we have a storm moving in tomorrow. LOL

Have a lovely long weekend, Colline, and enjoy your rest time. It’s good to slow down once in a while. 🙂
This week I’m grateful for nudge from my body to do some resting of my own, and for the healing that is occurring as a result. I’m grateful for my health and the strength of my body, too.
