Grateful for Course

This week I am grateful that I registered for the course I am following (French as a Second Language part 2). I am learning new techniques and games under the guidance of our lecturer who is extremely knowledgeable. In addition, the classmates I have are willing to share ideas and experiences resulting in interesting conversations. I enjoy it when the lecturer encourages us to look at one another’s work and give suggestions or ideas. In this way, a participant may receive an idea that she/he had not yet thought of.

I am grateful that I am learning many strategies in the course – and being reminded of a few. The lecturer is well versed in teaching both French Immersion and Core French therefore making most of what he is teaching relevant to my own experience.

I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.

    1. Unfortunately the course I am doing is in French. What I wrote on the poster is the essential question for the unit I am planing for my kindergarten class. Next time I will post a translation 🙂

  1. Interesting topic Colline, my wife Ana is Chilean and speaks Spanish and English, she wants me to learn but I dont seem to have the desire to learn as I used to, I did learn basic Vietnamese from my Vietnam days and Pidgin english from New Guinea, but cant get enthused for another language.
Your programme sounds a great idea.

  2. I was too planning to learn a different language.. any tips what should I start with? By the way all the very best for your learning! 🙂

This week I have been grateful for my Keyboard, which always help me to type my thoughts when needed. I used to be half what I am today without it!

    Be Bettr, Stay Bettr! 🙂

    1. I am not learning a new language – instead I am learning strategies with which to teach it better.

I am thankful for keywords too. Without them I would still have to write my thoughts by hand 🙂

  3. I take my hat off for you. It is so good to improve whatever you are interested in. Getting new ideas and strategies keeps the teaching interesting. Good on you!
