Grateful for Cochet

This week I had a doctor’s appointment which meant sitting in a crowded waiting room for my turn to be examined. To while away the time I took my crochet hook, a ball of yarn and a pair of scissors with me. To the drone of the newscaster’s voice coming from the television, my hands kept busy. At least while crocheting, I did not feel that I was wasting time while waiting.

I was grateful that crocheting helped to pass the time. I am grateful too for the fact that my mom taught me how to use a crochet hook when I was younger.

(Join me and share something that you have been grateful for in the past week. Link up with my post and feel free to use the badge my daughter created. )

Thank you for last week’s contributions. I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.

Last Sunday on Silver Threading, Colleen wrote about patience and those who show this trait.
