Grateful for Family

I am always grateful for my family. I enjoy the good morning kisses and hugs. I love the welcome I receive when we all meet again at home at the end of the day. I savour the conversations and laughs we share at the dining table each day. I enjoy the moments we all sit together on the sofa and watch a family movie together. I appreciate that we do many things together and yet give one another the space to do things as individuals. I am grateful that I have been given the opportunity to experience having my own family; and that the family that I do have is loving and supportive.

Thank you for last week’s contributions. I enjoy reading what others are grateful for – the posts make me think of other things I am happy to have in my life. Please remember to send me a pingback so that I know you have participated.

What is she photographing? In this grateful post, Scrapy refers to the international student she currently has staying with her.

    1. I am so very lucky that my little family still gets together even though the boy is living on his own. I realize that it is not so in every family and that makes me even more grateful for what I have. What I wish for you is that Ming has a change of heart come Christmas Day.

  1. You have a lovely close family. So supportive of each other and found strength in each other when you emigrated. Lovely Colline, I am also grateful for my own family.
BTW, I have forgotten where we find snow for our blogs, can you help? 🙂

    1. Go to General Settings (which you will find on your dashboard) and click the box at the bottom which says “show snow falling on my blog until 4th Jan”. Save the changes and you will have falling snow 🙂

  2. Good thoughts! A couple of things this week … 1) I had minor surgery Monday, so grateful for the hospital staff … 2) The week was the anniversary of the passing of two special people, so grateful for their presence in my life.

    1. I wish you all the best as you recover from your surgery Frank. When the hospital staff are pleasant and helpful, it helps. Glad that your stay was not too stressful.
