Grateful for a Husband who Cooks

I am grateful this week for a husband who cooks. Yesterday report cards were handed out and I began interviews with parents. As many parents work, the times that are suitable for them are late in the afternoon or in the early evening. In accommodating parents, I stay late at school and thus arrive late at home. I have no worries, however, that the routine of my own children will be upset. My husband prepares supper and everyone will sit down to eat at our normal dinner time.

He tries to make the dinner interesting for our children – and yet healthy at the same time. He knows too that I enjoy eating plenty of vegetables πŸ™‚

  1. What a beautiful table. πŸ™‚ I have a wonderful husband who does most of the cooking. Knows that is the best way to know he is going to get a square meal. lol And that really is the truth.
Right now he has gone to do the shopping. It is cold this morning and he said he would go by himself. So I am free to be on the computer. YEA!!
Of course when he goes by himself, I won’t be there to say….we don’t need that. πŸ™‚

  2. Olivia said to tell you ‘congrats’ on picking out a good man to explore life with. I think Oscar’s in trouble though, now she’s probably going to want him to start cooking, after finding out what a great guy you married. And Oscars pouting, cause he has eyes for you. LOL. Tell your hubby, he’d better treat your right, he has competition. πŸ˜‰

  3. What a thoughtful and caring hubby you have there Colline. Mine is the same, especially when I am not feeling well. In our house he is the one that makes the ‘vetkoek’ and pancakes and he is great at it.

Those dishes looks soooooo yummy! I love veggies as well, and salads. I can live on it. πŸ˜†
Great shot of the beautiful laid out table. The parents are so lucky to have someone as dedicated as you there. πŸ˜€ β™₯
