A Go-Slow Sign

There is a sign in my neigbourhood that I have loved from the first time that I saw it.

The tortoise appeals and yet I wonder whether drivers pay heed.

    1. Gives a sense of the need for calm, doesn’t it? The signs have been placed in a side street next to a high school that also has speed bumps. I am wondering if speed was an issue in that street at one time.

  1. I’ve never before seen a Calming Zone traffic sign before, how interesting! While most traffic signs seem like direct commands, do this, or don’t do that, this seems more like a suggestion – Chill Out. 🙂 I like it!

  2. Love them but I think there are maybe to many signs on one pole! Which one are you going to see first, second…. You have to pass it many times before you know all of them? Just a suggestion!
