A Street Scene

As I walk down the street I notice a few things that may loosely be described as containers: the flower planters, vehicles and buildings.

The ones I enjoy looking at the most are the ones that contain the flowers as they definitely bring colour to the grey-like street.

Which containers do you prefer to see?

  1. We’ve a few streets in town where the city has installed planters and placed red rose bushes in them, The streets look so nice, lined in red like that. Those that you showed here were planted with a keen eye. They’re really beautiful.

  2. Gibraltar spends a lot of time effort and presumably money keeping up to the containers and also garden areas (big containers?!) around Main Street where we live. Some have green plants, some have flowers, and some have rosemary which is very convenient when I want to make herb bread.

  3. Its beautiful to see streets showing more than footpaths and cars.
The European countries put beautiful vibrancy into their streets.
Seems we in the Western world go with the tar and cement scenario.
