A Favourite Tee

My daughter has a favourite t-shirt that she found last summer:

To be honest, I did not “get it” when she first showed it to me. My daughter, the math geek, had to explain it to me!

Thursday SpecialWere you able to read the expression on first glance?

  1. Very clever, Colline. I love seeing kids wearing shirts like this. I’m sure she enjoys watching the expressions of people as they read and suddenly “get it.” 🙂

  2. LOL. Since computing became a thing to admire, the nerds ruled. Now being a nerd is something to admire. From one nerd to another….. I suspect that almost everyone believes they were a nerd during the pre-teen years, didn’t they?
If you have Netflix, try watching ‘Mortified’ – a collection of ordinary people who read their childhood/teen diaries on stage. Caution: some of it is not appropriate for children to watch. If anyone can find an edited version, please advise. It might be good for children to see that many of the thoughts and feelings they are experiencing by grown-ups who experienced it themselves and who don’t seem nerdy at all survived the awkward years!
