I look at my girls and there is so much I see:
I see them as infants and remember the first time I held them in my arms. So small and fragile and yet able to elicit so much love.
I see them as toddlers, learning to take their first steps and move towards that which interests them.
I see them as excited young schoolchildren, thrilled with the discovery of learning and eager to explore the art of learning.
I see them as pre-teens becoming aware of the world around them and showing the first steps of independence.
I see them as teenagers, discovering who they are and deciding on who they will be in the future.
I see them as beautiful, fun-loving, full of energy and excitement.
I see them as a blessing in my life, as a gift that was given to me to nurture and enjoy.
I look at my girls and there is so much I see: past, present and future.
What do you see when you look at your children?
