Dreamy December Days Read-A-Thon

Reading is something that I do everyday. Like most people I read emails, the flyers from stores, the messages on bulletin boards. And books. Every moment I have, I crack open a book (or sometimes even switch on my reading device) in order to enjoy the world that another person has created. So when I learned of a read-a-thon from a fellow blogger, I thought “Why not?”. I am already reading – all I need to do is share with everyone what it is I have read that day.

This I will do for one week solid during the first week of December. What I love about the idea is that I have found a way to read (yes, that word again πŸ™‚ ) what others have spent their time perusing. I am sure to add to my book list. But that is what keeps my reading life exciting!

Why don’t you join me? Head on over to Books Keep Me Sane and sign up. I have and I would love it if you join me.

What do you read everyday?

  1. LOL about the flyers and emails. Me, too. That counts as reading doesn’t it? I also read the Metro and town paper to keep up with city politics these days. And I also read books with the kids and books on my own. Quite a bit of reading I’m realizing when you add it all together. And, with all the writing as well, well there is some re-reading of content there too.

Wow, Colline, I’m reading all day, really! Your blog post made me realize this.

      1. You do that extraordinarily well, but I don’t. Chuckle…
I will have to keep up with what you’re reading and reviewing. I thought it was a great idea. I read a long list of posts by people who write.

  2. Lovely post Colline. To tell you the honest truth, if I have to start reading books again, no one will ever hear from me, especially if it’s from my favourite authors, Stephen King, Dean R Koontz and Robin Cook. Today I just read some blogs. πŸ˜‰
    Have a great weekend hon.
    *hugs*

  4. Sounds like fun, and I do read every day. However, I am so relieved that NaBloPoMo is ending, I don’t want to make any commitments. I wish I had more time to read. I think blogging has cut into it a bit.

What I love most about vacations is the extra time to read. It is certainly so,etching to look forward to.
