A Gift from God

A gift from God was born

Small and delicate.

The miracle of birth brought

Wonder, joy, hope

And plenty of love.

It also brought despair and fear.

And yet from within the depths of fear

Another gift has emerged:

The strength of hope and prayer,

The binding force that brings people together.

We watch you battle for life

Filled with an inner strength and determination.

You are a fighter and our love cheers you on.

You are a gift from God

Reminding us that He gives us more than just life.

He gives us compassion, determination, hope, community, and love.

A gift from God was born

Filled with strength and bringing hope.

    1. I have been praying for him Kellie. Looking at his pictures on Facebook, something in him touched my heart and I felt I had to write something for you and his family.

  1. You wrote a beautiful post for Khole, Team Khole, and Kellie. You’ve provided the family and Khole with wise words of encourage. I send good and healing thoughts to Khole, his team and to Kellie.

    1. Thank you Phylor. I want my words to be an encouragement to them. I love too that Kellie’s community is willing to write their words of encouragement down and share it with the family.

    1. Kellie has the idea of putting all the words of encouragement people have written for him into a book with some of his photographs. I am sure he is going to love it when he is older.
