A table laid such as this for visiting family members is always a foreshadow of a delicious meal and wonderful conversation. Not only do I enjoy eating together; but I also enjoy the conversation that flows freely among the diners.

Do you enjoy eating meals together with your family?

  1. Not much family around these parts but when we get together, the food and the chatter are a big part of the memories.
    Your family meal looks delish!

  2. A wonderful interpretation of the challenge, Colline. I really do miss our family’s Sunday dinners. It’s all too rare for us to find ourselves seated around the same table now.

    1. One of the things I do enjoy about visiting family wherever they are in the world, is the opportunity to sit with them around the table and eat. The time spent with them at the table ends up being quality time that is even more special because it does not happen too often.

  3. Excellent photo for the theme. I just left my family today and will miss our gathering around the table together to dine! And your husband the chef? Wow. Nice!!

  4. It looks delicious Colline and such a lovely shot! It portrays a well cooked, healthy family meal perfectly. Thanks for sharing hon. 😀 *hugs*

    1. I am one of those people who now cooks because she has to (nothing like cooking every day to feed your family to take away enjoyment). My husband and I do enjoy, though, cooking for family who visit and this one one of the times when my husband did the honours 🙂
