We had spent the day out visiting family in Manzini, Swaziland and were on our way home. My family and I were not the only ones homeward bound after a long day. On the crest of a hill we saw some people waiting for a taxi so that they could ride home. They were silhouetted against the twilight sky, chatting to one another while waiting.

Luckily we did not have to wait for a ride and quickly arrived at our destination.
Do you often wait in the twilight for your ride home?

So true. And what seems normal there is not seen here – especially when the subway is so close.

I like it that all the silhouettes are black but you can see the red lights! Very cool!

Very beautiful! My friend went to Kenya last year and she experienced the same thing. She told me how beautiful and unspoilt it was. You can almost grab the stars at night time too, from her stories of course!

The air is definitely cleaner: and you can see more stars, and even landscape, as the view is not covered in smog.

Yes it is John. Though the surroundings may change, waiting for a form of public transport does require a lot of, well, waiting ๐
